So happy to say that The Holistic Home Company has officially launched! It started with my daughter Lulu and I wanting to make handmade Christmas gifts with meaning for friends and family. When mass feedback arrived “you should seriously consider making these professionally” I laughed. I didn’t have the time – especially with my book coming out next year. After being in development for a TV show, suddenly potential investors came around for meetings with me that left me feeling disenchanted with their potential involvement, yet greatly motivated to launch a company on my own. If those meetings didn’t happen, I don’t think I would have felt inspired to say “You know, maybe I can do this myself”.
As the Universe has a tendency to unfold seamlessly with guideposts and opportunities along the way when you are following your right path, everyday amazing and serendipitous events occurred to propel me along. Some of it was a bit of pain – just creating an LLC, who knew you had to advertise in local papers announcing your company for six weeks – and other parts were tricky to navigate through (trademarks are a bitch to comprehend and file properly) but it all came together with help from a great accountant, IT guy, photographer, creative sewers and artisans and my new Intern, Minsu.
And so it happened. I created a company that offers hand made, luxury goods that are all made with meaning and encouraged to be used in positive ways. Every product details the mind, body, spirit and space connection. The Mind covers the visualization aspect, such as setting a positive intention every time you light the candle. The Body relates to the physical materials of the product, for example, that candle is made with eco-friendly, carbon neutral, GMO-free soy wax.
The Spirit covers the energetic connections – you choose the scent based on your emotional, physical, spiritual needs. Finally, the space part relates to how your home and your immediate surroundings are enhanced with these mindfully made products.
I hate to play favorites. But right out of the gate there are the top sellers that had my heart from the beginning. The raw crystal napkin rings are gorgeous.
Each one is unique. Each one is a gift from Nature and a reminder of what this big, beautiful planet is capable of.

One of the pleasant surprises so far has been the popularity of The Home Sweet Home gift. Inside a signature gift box are three items that are the perfect compliment for the new homeowner or even for someone that simply wants to improve the energy of their space.
